Bio

BIO

German started to learn guitar in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with Jorge Minissale (Sweater, Los Twist), then in Sadem with Rodolfo Gorosito (Los Redondos). He took classes with Wenchy Lazo (jazz), Martín Telechanski (classical guitar, finger technique of the right hand, improvisation).

German studied Traditional Harmony and Counterpoint, advanced Ear training (Sol-fa atonal) with Santiago Farsuau (Catholic University of Argentina), and studied jazz guitar with Professor Manfred Schwarzkopf, Alumni of Berklee College of Music, who recommended that he should present to the Auditions of Scholarships that professors sent by Berklee were taking in Buenos Aires. He was awarded a scholarship to study in Boston, and there he trained in Jazz Composition and Professional Music. He had his first approaches to making music on computers and music production.

Upon returning to Argentina, He delved into that field to study Music Production and Sound Engineering in EMBA (Music School of Buenos Aires, Argentina).

He played in collaboration with singers (Matías Foreiter, Lila Mitchelstein) and bands (Leandro Gatti's FLI), and carried forward his own projects (Perro azul, the most recent).

He has more than fifteen years of experience teaching music (guitar, bass, basic piano, harmony) to children, teenagers and adults.

German worked editing and producing sound for short films and commercials. He worked in the General Archive of the Nation of Argentina (Archivo General de la Nación) digitizing and editing audio material in open tape, shellac and vinyl records and cassettes of the Film, Audio and Video Department.

He plays bass in Ulises Band, Latin American Songbook, French Songs, and events (jazz standards).

He has his own music project duo, 'Pulsar Son', along with piano player, Professor Adolfo Delgado.
